{"id":2401,"date":"2024-02-09T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-09T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pfs.naoj.org\/blog\/?p=2401"},"modified":"2024-02-03T11:17:14","modified_gmt":"2024-02-03T11:17:14","slug":"prof-takada-won-hayashi-chushiro-prize","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pfs.naoj.org\/blog\/2024\/02\/p2401","title":{"rendered":"Prof. Takada won Hayashi Chushiro Prize"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Prof. Masahiro Takada (Kavli IPMU), the PFS Primary Scientist, won Hayashi Chushiro Prize in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hayashi Chushiro Prize of Astronomical Society of Japan (ASJ) was established based on donation by Dr. Chushiro Hayashi (emeritus professor of Kyoto University at that time), when he was awarded for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kyotoprize.org\/en\/laureates\/chushiro_hayashi\/\" target=\"_blank\">the 11th Kyoto Prize<\/a> in 1995 [1]. He donated to ASJ encouraging younger researchers to develop astronomy.
